Spring 2025 Accessibility Improvements

We continue to make progress on accessibility improvements on our campuses, including the following:
- We are in the process of an Elevator Modernization project to enhance the function of elevators spanning multiple buildings across the Hilltop Campus.
- We continue to improve the Campus Map and request any feedback be submitted through our Google form.
- Check out the new and improved signage in Healy Hall, which improves campus wayfinding.
- Many door handles throughout the Leavey Student Center and Garage have been upgraded for better accessibility.
- Lauinger Library 2nd and 4th-floor single-user restrooms have been renovated for improved accessibility.
- Four single-user toilet rooms on the 2nd and ground floors of Maguire Hall have been updated with ADA improvements. The work included new door levers, new thresholds, mirrors at accessible mounting height, vertical grab bar installation, under-sink pipe covers, accessible-height coat hooks and relocating protruding objects out of the accessible path.
